Prescription orthoses are custom made to each individual. They are precision devices tailored to meet each specific foot type and requirements.
Not everyone requires prescription insoles, sometimes a simple insole will suffice. David usually starts there! However, prescription orthosos do provide an great solution for patients who have specific pathologies or musculoskeletal problems which need to be addressed for each individual.
You will be required to have a plaster cast taken of both feet; biomechanical assessment and a detailed gait analysis before the orthoses are prescribed.
The plaster casts will be further assessed and digitally scanned at the orthoses laboratory before the manufacture of your orthoses.
The whole process normally takes approximately 14 days.
