Non-Prescription Insoles/ Orthoses

 

 

David manufactures non-prescription insoles in his own workshop, these do not require a cast or prescription. However, it may require the basic template to be in the patient's shoe for 10-14 days to allow for wear marks to allow for the appropriate deflective and supportive pad to be manufactured and added. This allows for the insole to be specific to each patient. 

 

Prescription orthoses are not needed by everyone.  Non-prescription insoles are cheaper and in a lot of cases perfectly adequate and suitable for the foot complaint of the patient. 

 

David uses a small range of these devices for patients with Diabetes, Peripheral Vascular Disease and Inflammatory joint disease.
